How do you get a result from the test?

I just d/l memtest86 v3.0. I cant find a option for one pass (1 loop)

Just keeps running...

anyway ... I have

2x256 slots 2&3 - PC3200c2 at 2.59v @ 192
KX7-333
XP2600+ (11x192 @ 1.65v)

Someone tell me how to get result number from Memtest86 3.0? ... or are you using different version?

memtest is like prime95 ~ itll just keep on running.....

boot to the disk
press C-2-3-0 to run all 11 stress tests
check the progress meter itll show:
1) current test progress
2) 1 complete loop progress

towards the middle right itll say how many times its "passed" a loop.
there are no real results ~ it can either pass it, or it cant
10 loops / all 11 tests ~ is plenty

My 1st question is ... (pardon my ignorance)

How do you get a 445ddr rating when not running a 200+ FSB?
(I saw several posts saying over 400ddr rating without a 200+FSB)
How is that calculated? Whats my rating?

Well I ran 6 loops earlier (about a hours worth)

I had 8 errors ... only on Test5 (Block Move 64 cached)
I know no errors is better... (If I do one pass I get no errors.)
Didnt crash or anything ... was still running ..

Are those errors ... bad? ... cuz I have no problems with this OC so far. ... 3dMark - 15,595

What does Test 5 errors indicate?

I use one program (game) to test my system ... and it works good too ... Unreal (the 226 version) 10 bucks.
If it runs that game ... Im ok ... Even UT2003, 3dMark and all the others will run before that game will ...

Oh ... I also tried the Cosair test settings discussed in this thread ... they lowered my 3dM score thou (15,460)

My current settings ...
CPU - Normal
5:2:1 - (1:1 actual CPU to MEM)
Manual SPD
Cas 2 - no bank interleave - 2522-2T - Enhanced for benchmark.

One think about this OC thou ... all my other chips I had in this MB liked 4bank interleave at 2-2522-1T
(my 1.2 t-bird ran 191Mhz on that setting even)
I had to turn OFF 4bank and use 2T CR (from 1T) to get my 'Unreal' test to pass.
3dMark - Ut2003 - and all my other benchmarks run OK with the above settings ON.

Oh ... btw ... this chip posted above 200mhz ... and booted to W2K
BUT ... my W2K corrupted on shutdown
I think my MB (KT333) gives out after 199.6mhz

167fsb + 33.33% (3:4 memory ratio) x 2 = 445ddr

if you get errors you are not stable.
my system easily passes 20+ loops overnight....

1.) only 2116 Mhz is displayed in CPU (no AMD)
2.) my Chipset Identification is missing ... (no Via 333)
3.) L2 cache is Unknown (256)

Can I still trust the test then?

Re-run of 3dM - 15,608 ... (broke 600)

mem 2x192 = 384 Mhz
AGP 4x96 = 384 Mhz
PCI = 48 Mhz

Just got mine, XMS3500 512MB Platinum Series, directly from Corsair.

Sandra Memory test:

@166FSB @2.7v 3:4 Cas 2-3-2-5 3404/3400, ran Memtest86 over 10 hours, no errors.
@167FSB @2.7v 3:4 Cas 2-3-2-5 3416/3419

I am extremely happy with the memory.

Cosair PC3200c2 xms back to 1T ... (Cas 2, 4 bank, 2,6,2,2 1T)
Sandra upped by 100 --- now 2906-2724

I think the v2.1 is the newer revision.....its on the latest 3500c2 and on all the 3500c2 platinum (I think)

The new ones should have reflective stickers on them (old ones have just plain white stickers), like the ones shown at the following links.
