20 year old has a video camera in his car. He pulls into an empty parking lot, then a cop comes in behind him. The cop asks him why he is in the parking lot, and the kid asks if he has done anything wrong. The cop asks him for his license etc, and the kid says something like, "have I comit a crime?". The cop freaks out and makes him get out of the car then explodes at him for about 5 minutes naming off random laws he could have him arrested for. When the cop realizes there is a camera he starts getting nicer.
He threatened the kid like 10 times to have him arrested for resisting arrest.
1. The cop asks him why he is in the parking lot, and the kid asks if he has done anything wrong.
2. The cop asks him for his license etc, and the kid says something like, "have I comit a crime?".
These are the two things the kid did wrong. You don't answer a question from an authority figure with a question. If he had just complied there wouldn't have been a problem. People that are reluctant to give information like this are usually guilty of somthing or are hiding something. Though the cop did lose control, the kid pretty much enabled the situation. For all we know, this cop just got done with a bar fight call or something and was on his last nerve.
