Police Brutality Caught on Tape

I thought long ago that cameras would reduce cops doing things like this but it keeps happening so often now. That and cities have to pay for idiots like this as this guy already has a lawyer so you know he will get some money.

And to the "cops do no wrong..." crowd the charges were dropped once this tape came to light. Now charges are pending for these cops.

EDIT: Updated link with FULL video. Watch the 14min mark if you want to get to the point.

Worst website ever.

That said is there more to the video? How is that police brutality? The guy wasnt complying with the cops orders to lie on the ground and was resisting arrest.

Please, never show me anything but the actual beating.

This looks bad, but I really hate the selective clips that are used for stories like this.

clearly he doesn't think the rules applied to him probably why he was pulled over in the first place. He didn't want to goto jail because he is going to get deported. Again because he is here illegally and the rules don't apply to him.

Can't tell anything by the video. Judging by where it started, he was resisting arrest.

That was a small part of the video. It started he was removed from the car as he would not sign the ticket. He sat on the ground and was then thrown on the car and was NOT resisting. The video you see in that link comes after he tried to just sit there as ordred and was still attacked. By the time this video started he was afraid for his life as you can hear him say help help they are trying to kill me.

Let me see if I can find the full video.

Watch the 14min mark when he was just sitting there and was ordered started to stand up as told but was thrown on the car.

WTF-He was pulled over for having blue tint on his headlights.

He looked like he was afraid for his life and the guy wasn't attacking the officers. He was yelling for help for fuck sake. Those cops were being total dickbags.

Maybe I should post a thread every time an officer dies in the line of duty.

I think you should. Maybe it'd give the cop haters around here a little perspective they often appear to lack.

So complaining about cops abusing their power = cop hater now.

How often does something good about cops get posted on ATOT?

So if a cop does 1 good thing they can beat up someone for free?

How does that have anything to do with this?

And again, what does that have to do with this. Post another thread if you like but in this case its cops caught breaking someones rights. They have been removed and their charges were dropped when the video came out. This seems to be more and more common.

Bad cops need to be exposed and weeded out of the police department.

Much like any other job, don't fuck up and you won't end up on the front page of the news. Your reward for not fucking up is that you get to keep your job and your paycheck.

Watch the 14min mark when he was just sitting there and was ordered started to stand up as told but was thrown on the car.

It looks to me like he was trying to run out into traffic, and he did not appear to be handcuffed. If he had initially complied, he would've been cuffed by then..leading me to believe he was resisting.

Count the number of times he was told to get on the ground and he did not comply.

In the original video he wasnt complying with the officers request. You do that anywhere and you will get that kind of treatment.

What other job will get you on national news for fucking up? It's a pretty short list, is it not?

They have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation - that's normal.

Watch the long video- you'll see him resist handcuffing, and repeatedly ignore orders to get on the ground. That's not how this game gets played.

You come off as an arrogant prick. Maybe it's because I was at work all night and I should be sleeping.

Try again..

"Officers John Wynkoop and Scott Wilson say he punched them with a closed fist when they pulled him over on Greenbelt Road in College Park, Maryland.

However, the charges were quietly dropped Friday and the officers have been abruptly pulled from the street"

Show me in the video where he hit them with a closed fist? The cops lied and broke his rights. Even the chief of police after watching the video admited it.

Don't pull the "even the chief" card. Chiefs are politicians.

Show me in the video where he complies with handcuffing, where he doesn't pull away and where he gets on the ground when directed.

What charges are pending against the officers?
