not the same situation though. Who is to say what a man would do when he sees a idiot kill his 2 sons? the rage and grief could/would drive many insane and do things outside of normal behavior.

only issue i have is the LAPD shooting and trying to kill innocent drivers of trucks.

Based on what we've been told by the manipulated media the guy deserves to die or spend his life in prison.

The issue is that it is not and should not be up to LEOs to delve out gang justice. It is one step away from them viciously beating up people for 'talking back' (oh wait, that happens all the time)

The system of issuing tickets and apprehending suspects should be totally separate from the 'justice' system... It shouldn't matter if the person is guilty or not.

Don't know if you can remember that incident where those 2 robbers with assault rifles had a war with them and they had only pistols and revolvers to bring them down? That situation resulted in Assault rifles being available for patrol units as well and not for SWAT only. I think they were waiting for some one to try their luck again with them having more powerful hardware to hit back this time. Look at the end result as more of years of itchy fingers like compressed air looking to be released sort of thing.

Don't ask me how the wallet in the cabin somehow survived a fire intense enough to burn a body past recognition.

My guess would be that the LA Times reporter who wrote that story was sloppy and made up the bit about his wallet being found when in fact they only found some other sort of identifying document.
