lol. while i do think he was going to die no matter what. don't be a idiot. he was fireing on the cops and had killed a few people. I really don't have a issue with them setting the house on fire and killing him.

only issue i have is the LAPD shooting and trying to kill innocent drivers of trucks.

Those cops should be fired and charged.

Based on what we've been told by the manipulated media the guy deserves to die or spend his life in prison.

The issue is that it is not and should not be up to LEOs to delve out gang justice. It is one step away from them viciously beating up people for 'talking back' (oh wait, that happens all the time)

The system of issuing tickets and apprehending suspects should be totally separate from the 'justice' system... It shouldn't matter if the person is guilty or not.

I did not see the incident but was M651 rounds used cause it contains pyrotechnic components?

i think everyone figured that out after 2 vehicles were shot up without warning..

that is the main thing about this situation that pisses me off.

Don't know if you can remember that incident where those 2 robbers with assault rifles had a war with them and they had only pistols and revolvers to bring them down? That situation resulted in Assault rifles being available for patrol units as well and not for SWAT only. I think they were waiting for some one to try their luck again with them having more powerful hardware to hit back this time. Look at the end result as more of years of itchy fingers like compressed air looking to be released sort of thing.

Yup all intentional alright. What more evidence do you want? They didn't allow any filming of what they were going to do? Helicopters couldn't zoom in anymore? Radio of them saying to burn the motherfucker?

Hey guys, a bit off topic, but who will be liable for damages on the house and vehicles? City or insurance?

Wait, didn't they already recover his wallet previously?

I don't think its him. This dude is military trained. I'd think he'd know how to MacGyver his way out of this situation.

This is like an action film. It reminds me a lot of "Law Abiding Citizen".

They found his wallet in San Diego already.

They have radio recordings of the police talking about burning him and a plan to burn him out. I wonder if that's real.

from the get-go with the cabin, I felt they just scared some crazy nutter in the woods who was trying to hide from the very thing that was surrounding his home.

Yeah.

Wallet found near US-Mexico border on Feb. 7th: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2013/02/dorner-manhunt-ex-cop-may-got-help.html

Wallet found in burned out cabin last night: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...her-dorner-ex-cop-los-angeles-mexico/1912553/

Don't ask me how the wallet in the cabin somehow survived a fire intense enough to burn a body past recognition.

My guess would be that the LA Times reporter who wrote that story was sloppy and made up the bit about his wallet being found when in fact they only found some other sort of identifying document.

So... the whole time they were searching for Dorner in Big Bear right before they were about to pack and leave, he was just camping across the street from their main command post?! :colbert:

Then he made the move to hijack two trucks and ended up holing up in the cabin that burned down...:|

http://news.yahoo.com/ap-source-dorners-license-found-burned-cabin-144347913.html

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. (AP) — Police scoured mountain peaks for days, using everything from bloodhounds to high-tech helicopters in their manhunt for a revenge-seeking ex-cop. They had no idea he was hiding among them, holed up in a vacation cabin across the street from their command post.
It was there that Christopher Dorner apparently took refuge last Thursday, four days after beginning a deadly rampage that would claim four lives.
