Your declaration of "no one" is false. A lot of people do it for the reasons I mentioned.

Not everyone that gotten out have a clear direction of where they want to go, so they choose reserves. Those that do so, most likely will reenlist after a bit, because they can't do anything else on the outside. I've seen many of those.

Just because you don't know about it, doesn't mean "no one" does it. One of my ex-colleague was in the reserves after his active tours, he did it for time count towards retirement. It's just another way for him to get federal benefits when his 20 years hit.

Maybe you should look into that.

I was saying no one does it to avoid being inactive reserve... If you intended to address that, you failed. You never really addressed the fact that when people say reserve they mean the reserves and not inactive reserve either. Why would he care about his military career if he was on inactive reserve status?

I see, you're retarded.

You said no one choose reserves as oppose to just default inactive reserves, I gave you personal knowledge of people that did it. You failed.

The media say something about reserves, I was only addressing the possibility of why people can be in the reserves after active tours. Media often give inaccurate information, I was thinking of possibility of why he does that. Nowhere in this thread I said anything about inactive reserves, you failed to make the connection. You failed again.

I know a guy that's a detective in the LAPD right now that's doing the same thing that Dorner was doing. He's serving in the RESERVES with the Coast Guards, while being a detective, prior to that he was ACTIVE Coast Guards. After 20 years, he'll receive federal retirement benefits.

The ex-colleague I mentioned earlier, he was a Lieutenant in the Navy, he remained on the RESERVES after his active duty tour is over, for the same reasons.

Stop it dude, just stop.

"Shoot all the trucks" may not be an efficient strategy, but I can't fault them for thoroughness.

So he's going to be the first criminal on US soil they use spy drones on (supposedly):

http://www.express.co.uk/news/world...-police-chief-s-daughter-and-killed-policeman

A senior police source said: “The thermal imaging cameras the drones use may be our only hope of finding him. On the ground, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack.”

Asked directly if drones have already been deployed, Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz, who is jointly leading the task force, said: “We are using all the tools at our disposal.”

The use of drones was later confirmed by Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Ralph DeSio, who revealed agents have been prepared for Dorner to make a dash for the Mexican border since his rampage began.

He said: “This agency has been at the forefront of domestic use of drones by law enforcement. That’s all I can say at the moment.”

anyone gonna take bets on whether they will drone strike or not?

(yes i realize the drones used by law enforcement agencies probably do not have armaments...doesnt mean they cant call in the cavalry though)

lapd will probably end up hitting a bunch of kids playing in the snow

Here's hoping he gets his info out soon before they do find him. But I'm sure he knows what he's doing. He might even by out of the country by now.

Wow a 1M bounty, what's the regular bounty for a suspected murderer?

I see $5-10,000, anything above that's pretty rare. This is nuts, in my store a few rednecks have came in today claiming they were going to go find him and collect their bounty. I dunno but I think this reward's a horrible idea, this dude is highly skilled and now idiots are going to stomp around looking for him. I know it just says for info leading to his arrest, but I see a lot of people actually trying to bring him in themselves.

They want this guy silenced at any cost, the bounty is for "information leading to the arrest and conviction" there's no way in hell if he gets caught that they'd let him live to actually be convicted.

$1 Million Reward = just enough to get REAL DEAL Bounty Hunters/Vigilantees to try to help catch him... :colbert:

I don't even remember seeing that high of a reward for serial murders and/or even some of the FBI's most wanted list...

Someone catches him, goes to claim the million and all of a sudden they find a reason not to pay it.
