TKD is gay. Everybody who can actually fight knows this. I'm sorry you've spent so long on it.MMA is not a style. It's a term for those who are well rounded with multiple styles; TKD can be one of those styles
That and saying TKD is gay pretty much nullifies your opinion, Skoorb. 😛
My point, I like the other thread more! I think the best fighter wouldn't even be able to really tell you any of his particular styles because he'd pick and choose multiple ones as they seem suited, since every style has something to offer. If you HAD to pick one for brawling probably boxing or kick boxing would be best but an MMA school is going to get you plenty fit, too, if you want that, and train you more effectively than any single place. And a boxer would fuck them up, but lose to a TKD master.
What's your point?
Unnecessary bias is unnecessary, Mr. Brooks!

Take TKD... soon you'll be able to pull off masterful moves like this:

You can argue all day about fighting styles but it really comes down to genetics. Anyone on AT could train for years in any style and Mike Tyson without a day of boxing training could roll out of bed and take your head off with a single punch.
Great for fitness, not so much for defense. I took it for years as a kid and I was in great shape.
