Yes that'll work because religious people have a great track record of seeking the truth and are well grounded in reality. They require evidence to believe what they do. So I'm going to have a tough time convincing them you're evil right?
You know those same religious folks that believe in transubstantiation, that is that if you speak a few Latin words over a wafer it magically transforms into the flesh of a carpenter that lived thousands of years ago but is somehow also magically completely undetectable by science. Because scientists are too stupid to figure out the difference between a wafer and human flesh.
That same carpenter who performed miracles to help humanity through it's troubles. By turning water into wine. Turning something essential for life: water, into an alcoholic beverage. An alcoholic beverage that causes liver damage, brain damage, both short and long term. So turning that which is essential for life into something that destroys life. Because the trouble with humanity was that there weren't enough drunks running around back then.
THAT'S the miracle he chose? That's the miracle everyone celebrates and talks about that was so great?
Those are the thought processes you want to celebrate?
I'll celebrate them too, for a different reason. Because they are funny, that's why. If they weren't also so dangerous, I'd really have a good laugh.
