Indeed. The difference between Modern Day Islam and Modern Day Christianity is little more than how much Political Power each has in the nations they dominate.

Make a Christian Theocracy and it will quickly turn into something akin to Iran or possibly worse. It really doesn't matter what the actual words in the "Holy" book are, although admittedly the Koran is much more clear about using Physical force as part of its' Religious practice, when the Principles within the book are presented as having extreme consequences. If one truly believes that x will lead to negative consequence y(Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Disease seems to be popular), then all kinds of extreme actions can be justified regardless of what the book says. As history and even pockets of current Africa show.

To someone who's agnostic and not wanting to belittle other peoples beliefs, yeah Atheists come off as a "religion". Might not have a church that you go to once a week (if you did, it would probably be Tuesday). But the way a lot of people treat "believers" out there and try to berate and demean other peoples beliefs. Atheists can be just as unaccepting and arrogant as any other religion. It's still one of the "one true beliefs".

Not every religion is violence prone. Many Eastern religions are very non confrontational when it comes to non-believers. A lot more tolerant than Atheists display from time to time. And they may not call for their deaths. But decent portion of the Atheist crowd does berate people referring to their level of intelligence for believing in mysticism among the examples.

It's hard to say.

The atheists: they have plenty of idea of 'evil', which can be secular. Some support capital punishment, some don't, Some are more 'rational', some less. It could go either way.

Religious people are also diverse. Sometimes they can want to kill evil people, on the other hand all religions teach against murder and many oppose capital punishment. 'Love your enemy'. 'Turn the other cheek'. Some are bigots, some are not, There are many types of religious people. It could go either way.

Most Muslims - who you have singled out before - I've found to be especially gentle people. A small number are violent.

Funny how people just love the truth until it injures them and gives them bad face to the public. Then they get angry. Because scientists are too stupid to figure out the difference between a wafer and human flesh.

That same carpenter who performed miracles to help humanity through it's troubles. By turning water into wine. Turning something essential for life: water, into an alcoholic beverage. An alcoholic beverage that causes liver damage, brain damage, both short and long term. So turning that which is essential for life into something that destroys life. Because the trouble with humanity was that there weren't enough drunks running around back then.

The catholic faith was actually the merger of 2 religions into one.

But of all the religions I do surmise that religion is for the weak minded.

If you are an Atheist would you lie that you are of a certain religion then convert but secretly you will be living the lie until its safe.

As an Atheist would you say that you are non religious and probably get a bullet in the head on the spot?

You must first break their spirits and herd them to their end like cattle. Forced prayer or conversion is one tactic, rape is pretty popular too. They are the ones walking around without any cohesive group wondering why religions are as fucked up as they are.
