american women dont do these things usually (there are exceptions to the rule) so its good he put it in writing.

Its a unusual prenup may not hold up in court, but definately not far from the mark. I would say he knows what the hell he is doing..

 
This isn't out of the norm at all for someone accustomed to a BDSM lifestyle, from what I know. Sometimes one partner outright owns the other.
