I understand the need to keep a mystery, but this is getting silly. If they're not going to answer questions then I'm not going to watch.
Tonight's episode finally had something that the series has been lacking for most of its run: lightheartedness and humor.
Quick show of hands, did anyone not not see that coming? A mole twist only works if it's not blindingly obvious; in this case being the woman scorned.
And Mr. Gaeta is getting grey.![]()
• Kiera doesn't work for the police or fbi, yet she has money to pay for rent, food, clothing.
She obtained money when she busted one of the Liberat8 operations.
• Kiera has no social security card or birth certificate, yet she managed to get a car and place to live without issue
She has an identity manufactured by Alec Sadler who is one of the greatest computer hackers of all time and a genius.
• Profanity in Season 2 has increased.
I hadn't noticed. Except that in Season 2 Liberat8 is dealing with gangs and the underworld where profanity is used more.
• Kiera had a mole in Season 1, now its gone in Season 2
I'm not complaining. Rachel Nichols had the mole removed and it looks better.
• Vancouver, Canada in 2077 looks very bleak, no flying cars and shortage of water.
Actually the police do have "flying cars." Regular commuters use public transportation. I don't think anyone still has ground based cars since resources are in short supply and are rationed
Hope that clears things up for you.
I found this weeks episode to be much better than the "felix" episode.Actually, if you remember from Episode 1 of Season 1, Kiera uses her suit to jack an ATM for a lot of money. She could just be doing that non-stop -- it's the bank/corporation's money and she's "commandeering" it as an OCP employee.
And shit: I forgot last week's episode was on after a repeat week, so missed it... I hate watching television online (from official channel website).
"Caprica girl" - AH! I finally recognize her now. I knew I'd seen her somewhere.
P.S. The reveal to her partner about her futureness was not handled well. The overall story they wrote for it was OK, but some of the lines sucked or at least the way they did it in the show didn't play well IMO. That Sherlock Holmes line just seemed so cliched. The actor almost seemed like he was flinching when he recited that line.
