Well I agree to a point but when you tring to squeeze a processor for all it's got advanced cooling does play a factor as an example my TRUE allows me to runn my q6600 @ 3.6ghz loaded temps @ 61-63c if I bump things up to 3.7ghz temps climb 5c!

BTW AL Gore is a fraud/opportunist... nothing against 30in monitors though :)

oh i know you can squeeze more, i'm just saying that its not like before when we all had single core processors and you could really feel the difference. now even base line budget processors are fast for most desktop tasks and multitasking. and video card matters more than cpu.... so the wow has sorta gone out of it. bigger screen is where its at! and no, i dont like gore either, but thats still a sweet setup!

Its not a triple, but a double 24'

Also you cant get these clocks on air 24/7:

and i used to watercool for the bling and performance. Now i watercool for the silence and because i cant tollerate the temps which are associated with air.

While air loads at 70-75C, i'll load at 40-45C at a clock roughly 200-300 mhz higher on all 4 cores. And yes thats quite a bit of performance increase.

If you plan water out correctly, and grab enough budget, you cant compare the two. Its like comparing a camry with a lexus IS F. You bring out phase onto these girls, and its seriously OMGWTFBBQ GG NO RE, And every other thing a fob says to you when he rapes you in warcraft3! I see most phased QX sitting at around 4.5-4.6ghz which is sub 10sec super pi 1m territory.

OMG those temps are sick!. Yeah I'm all steam ahead for WC one peice at as time BTW I think I have a way to use the large three fan radiator will need to be mounted outside my case though. Thanks again aigomorla I'll be talking to you for advise once I have all my parts collected BTW HOW many feet of tubing do you think would be prudent to buy?

for newbies i recomend somewhere between 10-15 feet.

This accounts for the OOOPS factor.

Measure twice cut once. If you're paranoid try it with string first. ;)

get coils for this. Koolance makes some nice ones in different unique colors. Get the one with the 5/8OD

As for tubing get masterkleer 7/16ID 5/8OD.
http://www.jab-tech.com/Master...ID-5-8-OD-pr-3079.html

As you see when you buy 10feet or more its .49 cents per feet. So its not big money out of pocket.

And ruby even if you messure twice and cut once, an opps can happen. Like, OPPS why did i loop it this way instead of that way oops. :X

Or the infamous OOPS not this one, i ment that one, aww crap now its stuck can cant be pulled out conventionally. :p

Angle of Bend/360*2pr= min tubing length to make bend.

Sorry about that! With plastic tubing you do have mercy as if it kinks you don't damage it. But you do want to make the bends as gradual as possible. You can use elbow fittings but these will add roughly the equivalent of a full foot of head pressure (lift) to the system!

I am going to be doing the same thing in the same case soon myself, maybe you will have some ideas as to where to place things.

I don't mind mounting the radiator outside the case, I have been lookin at the swifttec kits they look simple but I am not sure how they perform.

Also I do plan to pick up the 1200 if Antec ever releases it. I think it is going to have an option to purchase it with a radiator mounted at the top with to 200mm fan.
