I think he met his goal and got a SCOTUS Ruling in his favor.
 
And we also know kneeling on the football field is only frowned upon if you are black.

Personally my strong dislike for Kapernick and disrespect to the vets who served and in many cases died to protect OUR (as in yours and mine) miserable collective a$$es influenced my reaction. (and a serious butt-ton of others from ALL walks of life in America)

And this is coming from a white man who is ashamed to be white in many ways. (I wasn't given a choice before I was born don't know about anyone else)

The cause is absolutely just but the way they chose to do it was stupid. (and counter-productive IMO)

I would have thought mocking a POW for being captured is far more disrespectful to vets than kneeling during the anthem to garner attention for blacks being mistreated by the CJS. But what do I know.

You do know the military paid the NFL to turn the start of games basically into a commercial for the US military right?

Also please list the acceptable forms of protest by persons of color and what cause that form is acceptable for. Because so far no matter what form their protest takes it's deemed "disrespectful" and "inappropriate".
