But don't get the recovery time. Like yes, media focuses on the very sick. Yes they say 40% asymptomatic. 80% with mild symptoms. But the long haulers are sick for months. How has all the WH personnel and GOP members serve their "10 day" period and return like it was nothing? Sure they may have received positive test earlier in sickness. But doubt they fought off the virus when it takes down marathoners far worse.

If you're Mitch McConnell and you want to confirm a gold bug to the Fed or a 24 year old judge who got their degree form the Lionel Hutz School of Law it is.

I'm Team COVID in this specific situation.

Be far more significant if it spreads to the Supremes themselves. That could get very interesting.

Have there been any consequences for any of this?
I cannot think of a news item detailing COVID health scares in Congress. Just positive tests.

Here you go - you can keep track of all the Congress peeps who have tested positive, quarantined or come in contact with a positive.

No mention of actual illness or severity.

I know Congress is a small sample size, but as mentioned earlier in the topic - so many of them are old. In a HUGE risk factor. Yet all quiet on the consequence front. Statistically speaking, 1/3rd of the leadership should be goners. Unless immediate access to healthcare is the determining factor in positive outcomes.

Trump seems to have been the most severely reported case given the early description of his symptoms. I think his outcome proves how effective quality healthcare can be when not delayed by fear of payment.
