Typically GCs are sold for less than what they are worth. Sometimes much less...

you don't say. I thought they were like collectors items and went up in value, kinda like stamps.

I may start doing this. I always carry an Amazon GC balance (from my Amazon credit card). Why not just bid on all of them with a 15% discount?
