Went to the Marietta, Ga. store, about 530am.. was #30 in line..
The line stretched at 7pm about 400 people deep.. and people were
waiting 10 feet away that just got there.. and RUSHED the doors.. with the people
who had been waiting 2hrs.. (what a buncha crap)..
I got inside and made a BEELINE to the GF3 ti200 cards.. there wasnt anyone to THAT
aisle yet..and there were NO GF3 ti200 cards to START with.. they had no stock
when they opened.
I luckily grabbed a 60g hard drive.. then
I went to get a PRICEMATCH on the GF3 card I had already bought (because I knew this
would happen) and they checked with 2 cust service managers and said they could
NOT pricematch any fri/sat/sun SALE item at all..
I told them that was crap, they said too bad...
I proceeded to get a STORE manager, explained they had NONE when they opened and
I wanted them to pricematch one I had previously bought (just for that reason)..
HE said, ok, no prob.. and they credited me the 199$ and then re-rang up the item
for 149$.. and it printed a rebate slip (NO VIRTUAL rebate for me).. i dont know how you guys
got away with that.
O well.. YMMV as they say, I would get a manager if they dont pricematch these items for you
that you already bought.. I would ask them to SHOW you where it says that they cant
PRICEmatch any of these SALE items.. (I bet they would be hard pressed to back up
that policy, if it IS one)..
o well..
I am happy.. its done.. whatever..
