No tale of woe from me. I went to the Cerritos BB about 7:30 PM to price match my 60Gig HD. Stood in line for about 10 minutes. When I got
to the counter, I showed the guy the ad and my receipt. He took the receipt, printed out an exchange slip that
he had me fill out. I asked him if he needed the credit card I used to pay for my 60 gig HD. He tells me no. That
all my info is still in their memory. So he prints out another receipt, shows me all the $$ info. Here's what it read:
Return Items: 149.99-
Sale Items: 99.99
Subtotal: 50-
Sales Tax 8% 4-.00
Total: 54.00
I told him the price was wrong and that I should get a rebate form for the fifty dollar rebate. He told me that it wasn't
necessary since the rebate was taken care of.
I don't have a scanner or my digital camera with me. But I'll snap a pic of the receipt tomorrow for any non believers.
For what it's worth, I bought the hard drive Wednesday. Paid for it with a VISA credit card. I wasn't expecting that
virtual rebate. But I'll take it.
