Seriously... he's not that funny.

And you're such an authority on the matter? You're just a non-factor trolling a thread on a computer forum on the internet and he's running the fucking tonight show on tv every night making more money than god.

Yeah, like anyone's going to listen to you

I think the fact that you find Larry the Cable Guy more entertaining than Conan should be the period on that sentence.

so.. do you really think in the year 3000 we'll be using youtube, facebook or twitter?
hell...sites like Lycos and Altavista, which were popular less than 5 years ago, are hardly known this day and age..

Do you think in the year 3,000 we'll have the heads of every celebrity and B-movie star from the late 90s saved in jars a la Futurama? No? Well that's because it's a ridiculous premise. But it allows us to connect to the jokes more than using some fictitious people who may actually be celebrities 1,000 years from now. The comedy doesn't stem from accurate predictions of future events, the comedy stems from "what if we took something that we all know and thought about how it might look if we took it to the future." It's not supposed to be accurate. Hell, if it was, there'd be no comedy to it.

Yeah, and who actually still used Lycos five years ago? Ten, maybe...

It never is, which is why you should never try to explain a joke to someone, unless you're Norm McDonald and it's your whole act. So I apologize for that... Next time, I'll just throw in gratuitous profanity.

Douchetwat!

OVerall it's not a bad list... but it's confusing in that some of those people are similar to conan - In that if you like their stuff you'd think there would be at least something to enjoy from conan... and not feel compelled to join a thread about him and bitch.

I thought Conan was great.

I love his "new in town" LA references.

Tom Hanks telling Conan that the ONE thing he must do in LA is visit an In-and-Out Burger joint cracked me up.

I've never seen any celebs at the InO he mentioned. Porn stars however, yes (it's right across from VIVID HQ)

You can't be this dense...

You can't really find this funny..

Wow you were trying to take him literally?

What do you find funny? I bet half the people on AT don't find it funny either.

I wouldn't be surprised by that. It's been made abundantly clear that half the posters on AT are witless goblins with little to no life experience, no sense of humor, no taste in writing or quality programming to speak of, or are simply grumpy crumudgeons passing their time defending the sanctity of their basement dwellings by dispensing cold, hard internet justice!

I would actually be shocked if only 25% of AT didn't "Get" Conan.
