Thanks for the sale info, DUKAT1. Everyone better get in on the RAM deals, especially the DDR. RAM prices are going up quickly. Many people (including myself) who bought the DDR in the past few weeks found themselves with a stick of Samsung (chips and PCB were Samsung.)

The PD 48/12/48 should be a Lite-On LTR-48125W (http://www.cdrlabs.com/reviews/index.php?reviewid=131). Of course these companies do change suppliers all the time so it might have changed to something else.

If it's TCA, I think I'd pass. Having $110 tied up in rebate with TCA just doesn't sound too appealing. 🙂

I heard they issued bounced rebate checks a while ago.

Western Digital 80GB is a looker, but you'd have to wait forever to get back the $60 mir. Or, buy from newegg for like $114 free shipping. AFter taxes are figured in, the CU deal is only a few dollars lower... but the mir waiting is the kicker.
