hey atot!
i'm andrew, 17 y/o in southern maryland. for all you dc-metro people, i have a brother up in rockville. if you all are into cars, you might find him at a car show (or if anyone has heard of/is a member of capital audi, you might know my brother). total, i have 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 1 sister in law. i''ll be a senior in HS. my current goal is to kick the crap outta my high school before i leave. im ranked #1 and want to stay that way. then i'll go to college (probably drexel in philly) where i want to major in MSE (materials science and engineering). ideally, i'd like to get my PhD (drexel has a special phd program for undergrads). i have a beautiful g/f, we've been dating for about 4 months now (and hopefully many more happy months to come) :)

I'm a programmer, so computers are more than just a hobby. But I'll change careers with stunning speed if I can ever find something else in which I am interested that makes money.

Hey NN, do you play Battlefield 1942? I saw a guy with your username playing over the weekend and promptly drilled him with my machine gun. ;) I don't remember what map though, but I think maybe Omaha Beach...

EDIT: Damn, I meant to send a PM not post in this thread.

Names Linh, 22, Maryland. I'm just your average single guy trying to get the hell out of college (UMCP). Majoring in a random major because I relaized I really hate math. Trying to start myself a small little business. I really like photography even though I haven't pursued it very much.

All in all, I've been here for way too long :)

I'm 40 and live alone (divorced) in Irving, TX. I began my career working with PC's in 1984, and have worked mainly in the Aerospace and Telecommunications industries. I'm an avid mountain biker (average almost 50 miles/week), and I enjoy snow skiing. I have a late model Thunderbird, and I wouldn't drive anything else.

Nope - I've never played it and for the most part I've given up video games.

But, and this is important, there is only one REAL NuclearNed.

LOL

Seeing it in writing gives me a new appreciation of it's genius. :D

Hi, my name is Isla. I am a real female. I am older than most of you, and glad of it. As a special educator, I teach developmentally delayed preschoolers, which is something that would probably send most of you screaming out the door in five minutes or less. But I love it--- it's not something you can do properly otherwise.

The computer is something that helps me accomplish my work as a teacher and as a free lance writer.

The sociologist in me enjoys observing behaviors on message boards. :p

Hi my name is Ying and I am a 20 year old Chinese guy hailing from a tiny Jewish borough called Highland Park New Jersey. I am going on my 3rd year of International Relations (Poli Sci) and Physics double major at lovely Rutgers University in New Brunswick.

I really enjoy my politics and would really like to work for the United Nations someday, the physics major is just because I am Chinese and it would be unholy of me not to study something with science . I currently work in the Rutgers Physics Lab where my boss and I devise methods of taking over the earth. I was really into computer games when I was younger and therefore tinkered with computers a lot. Now I am mostly too busy and too poor to do so. My hobbies include the UN, Ultimate Frisbee, reading the New York Times, and being overall lazy.

my name is Luke Teng, I am 20 years old and will be a junior at Cornell University. Computer is kind of a hobby for me, though I don't know a lot about it. I am an Econ major, thinking about doubling up on something.
