I think it'll be a really good movie, but as usual Cruise's acting will be complete garbage. And Jamie Foxx...:laugh:
It seems like Cruise is in a lot of good movies(Minority Report, Vanilla Sky, etc), so either he has good taste in scripts or his agent is the best in the business.
 
I generally dislike Tom Cruise. I think he's a terrible actor. Everything seems so forced.

But, watching the preview, I thought that this might be a pretty good movie. I'll probably see it, but not in the theater unless friends/girlfriend want to go see it.
 
Yeah I think it'll be ok... my biggest worry is it will be another movie like that one with Michael Douglas who plays the psychologist who tries to get information out of the girl... and gets involved with the mob.. and then at the ends he suddenly becomes this tough as nails guy who turns the tables on the hardcore gangster guys...

I could see Jamie Foxx being a pvssy throughout the movie and then unexplained becomes kick azz at the end... that would be lame...

Michael Mann is one of my favorite directors 🙂
I wish he made more films...
Anyway, I'm definitely going to see asap.

The only movie I really liked of his was Heat (although I've never seen the insider, and I may have seen Last of the Mo's when I was too young).

I like the camera filter too, thats a nice effect. I should have gone to film school.
 
im going to watch it. early reviews sound promising, esp. since ive heard cruise is a bad guy character who is just so damn cool. like deniro in heat. what a coincidence! both michael mann films! cant wait. 😀
 
Yeah, I saw RT and am even more psyched to see this movie. I hope to go tomorrow afternoon if my friend isnt lazy.
 
yeah, the only thing that really kills this for is Jamie Foxx...on the other hand, we watched him get blown away in this movie we rented from blockbuster, can't think of the name, it has Sylvester Stallone and Thandy Newton, oh, and Jmaie Foxx...but watching him get wasted was almost as gratifying as watching Steven Seagal get blown out the airlock on Executive decision...
