The big things are:
1) The similarity in tempo
2) Identical chord progression
3) And the chorus of Vida La Vida is almost identical to the start of the guitar part on the Satriani song

OK, now that I have heard the mash-up, it is the same exact freaking song.

What is funny is that whenever I hear the Coldplay song, I think of this

What the fuck, how many people wrote this song?

Satch should just play on, and stop with the stupid lawsuit BS. It seems coincidental to me, and it's not Coldplay's fault he isn't as successful as them.

So because Coldplay is more successful than him, they should be allowed to lift the melody and chord progression from his song and use it to win a grammy?

I heard he was planning on serving papers to people at the Grammys. Wonder if that happened?
