Well, off the top of my head when I am doing 10 other things, no. But advertising the support of Chuck Norris, while endearing, is hardly a political statement. He seemed to appeal to the warm heart, which turns out to be the dead part in the brain.
Offering scholarships to illegal immigrant children just incentivizes more illegals to come over.
And, also, Hilary Plant questioned the Repubs in the Debate

The scholarship was based on merit(meaning you still had to do well in school).
Those children didn't come here illegally. Their parents did.
So far, Huckabee seems to be the only republican candidate who isn't a complete moron.
If he wins the nomination, I'll vote for him over all the candidate running for President besides Bill Richardson.

The reason is not only do they limit his air time, but they also limit the mumber of seats allocated to Ron Paul. IIRC Paul got a half to a third of what the "leading candidates" get.

Well I guess the word is out now. Hillary won the Republican debate.
I'm still down to three I'd like seeing go about against Hillary and/or Obama, and was shocked and dismayed at how much time the 4-5 big names got (McCain, Romney, Thompson, Guilliani, and Huckabee) and how little the others got.
They seriously need to ask questions in sequential order, and not allow other candidates to interject unless the other candidate throws out a personal type attack.
Why do the big networks limit the exposure of some of the candidates at the expense of the others??? This seems absolutely unfair to me...

I think What bothered me the most was how they focused certain Debate Questions only at Certain Candidates.
Example... On the National Debt Question ( Which I feel was the Best Video put together by a you tuber to get his point across) they ask
Fred Thomson
and move on quickly.
You could Watch Ron Paul raising his finger at his podium to Anderson Cooper ever so slightly signaling how he would like an opertunity to answer that Question....
Anderson Cooper saw this and couldnt get past the question quick enough.
No way were the Masters at Cnn going to allow RP to answer that one.
Hucabee does seem genuine and respectable though. He appears so far to me as someone who could possible bring unity back to this country and work with opposition. I would like to hear more from him. I see him as a legitimate contender now, and possible the overall front runner.

I noticed they also asked follow ups of nearly every question to the "big three" Giuliani, Romney, and Thompson. No matter who the original question was addressed to, Cooper would always give one of those three a 30 second follow-up. Every frickin question, they got airtime.

I think this whole TV debate format needs to be scrapped. It's been a disgusting tangle of crap. Only the top-tier candidates get any face time and the time limits are absurd. You can't throw out loaded questions and ask for 30 second quips.
I'd like to see longer debates, perhaps divide them up with only 3 or 4 candidates each, and give them some damn time to elaborate.
These stupid religious questions have no place anywhere in any of these debates.
In general this debate, like all of the other YouTube debates are a complete farce. How about some real people instead of these contrived hacks like Mr Gay General and Douchebag Insider Grover Norquist.

This wasn't a very good debate. I got in only at the last 20 minutes or so....
Lots of fluff questions - who cares about what they think about the confederate flag! Is this an important issue we are facing? It seems there were other questions about gays and religion. You know - it isn't that I don't care...but gays in the military won't magically change this war, won't deal with the way tax works, won't ensure gun rights, etc etc. Who cares about "RP will you run as an indepdent"? That is such a B.S. question - it was only eclipsed by the question "LMAO YANKS SUCK GO RED SOX"
and REALLLLY....attacking Romney for hiring a company that unknowingly used illegals? Even for the part of Republicans he belongs to - he is a TOTAL hack.
And from what I saw, Ron Paul didn't get much of a chance to answer anything. I think McCain used the crowd well to try to pidgeon him on IRaq, and he held his ground at best. Especially when he tried to insinuate that ALL troops want them to "win" (I wonder if he can define that)... RP didn't come back strong and turn the attack, but he didn't let McCAin run all over him.
Oh and BTW - Romney avoided answering anything directly SOOOOO much....I will admit he had a nice haircut and his face seemed to be lacking wrinkles, but that is it.

It's disgusting how much time was given to Romney considering he refused to give an answer to half the question. I haven't seen tap-dancing like that since Fred Astaire. Just answer the damn question, loser. I can see no reason that Romney has any place in the running other than his good looks.
Obviously I'd like to hear more from Paul, but even the other low polling candidates like Hunter and Tancredo have interesting things to say when they're given the opportunity. Instead we get jackasses like Giuliani and Romney getting all the camera time.
