omg. I put this name into wikipedia and this is the picture it uses to explain who she is:
225px-Audrey_Tomason.jpg

(it's a blown up picture form the situation room picture)

That's so awesome I can't even describe it :D
It doesn't say her age or anything though and I dont want to google it

Am I the only who thinks she's kinda cute?

Well, this is pretty out there even for a P&N reply, not sure if serious...

BTW, which one is the mestizo (part European, part Native American) in the photograph?

"Mestizo" is just the translation of "metis" , so you guess
that i was talking of Obama.

Great Shop:thumbsup:

GTaudiophile is just butthurt that Obama did great.

Idiot!

My commentary has nothing to do with Obama and his GUTSY CALL!

It has everyything to do with the media and its overblown enhacement of Obama's self-perpetrating glory that belongs in most part to the SEALs, CIA, and other countless members of the American armed forces.

I LOVE how the "righties" are rolling over in pain that Obama not only got OBL, but is getting praise for his leadership. The right-wing just """""HATES""""" this. I hear they had to toss Rush Limbaugh raw red meat before he went on the air, just to calm him down. And I LOVE how Obama is (and he is) playing this win win situation up, right in their face. Visiting ground zero, more events later next week. LOVE IT !!!!! (It's good to be the KING)

Face it douchenoggin, you and the other losers hate that Obama showed himself to be a strong leader.

Man, libtards are so violent! Such a contrast to their peace-loving, dope-smoking nature!

I guess so. A Lib just had a team blow two holes into the head of American's #1 previous bad guy...

\rest in hell, Bindy....

Someone really should bottle all these righty tears. We could irrigate the sahara with the sweet sweet flow.

I give Obama kudo's on a job well done, but some people are making it out to be like Obama stormed the mansion himself and pulled the trigger.

The "story" is a large bowl of smoldering bullshit, but it's deepest flaw has nothing to do with glorifying Obama. The picture is really nothing special. It doesn't clearly portray anything that doesn't necessitate a caption. The story is written by a mind intent on creating a story, and romanticizing the idea of a "significant moment" for its own sake. It is journalistic masturbation at its finest. The fact that Obama happens to be the objet d'art is quite secondary. To the cursory reader the article is a tribute to Obama, but a more careful read shows it for what it is: a windbag's tribute to himself. (edit: The author, that is.)

my apoliges, dear nonlnear...
Most editorializing about historical themes, identities, and the "significance" of a moment or an image are content-free trash. High-brow Cosmo if you will.

There simply aren't that many historically significant moments in a lifetime. It's the media's job to convince us otherwise. Bin Laden's death has some significance to be sure. A photo of white house execs watching a screen? Not so much.

edit: Apparently I took far too long in getting back to the reply tab. An edit for an edit then. My reply is sensible enough on its own so I'll leave it alone. It probably helps to elaborate on what I meant anyways. I didn't mean to be critical towards Obama in my previous post - I hope this post makes it a little more clear what I was getting at.
