Apparently you can ignore Congress, but you can't ignore a criminal investigation by the FBI. Funny how this has taken so many months for the FBI to open a criminal investigation. If it were anyone else, the FBI would have long ago crashed through the doors and seized it. You have to love the spin on the news outlet by-lines that Clinton agreed to this and that she is authorizing her aids to cooperate. Spin, spin, spin.

And she is not under arrest... this is a criminal probe meaning someone at the FBI thinks she screwed up... which everyone in the U.S. believes she did (well, with the exception of the 53.9% who support her in the primary).

Charges were brought against David Petraeus because he deliberately shared documents with Paula Broadwell. I'm not aware of any allegation that Clinton improperly shared information.

I remain unconvinced that this goes anywhere. I can't see Obama risking war in the Democrat Party over this, and I can't see the 3/4 of Republicans in Congress who are currently running for President actually pushing for Clinton's sanction over something they each probably hope to have the chance to do. Nonetheless, just to cover my ass I'll take this opportunity to admit that Boomerang has been more correct on this than have I.
