Clinton blah blah blah email blah blah blah. One big boring blur. Now, nominating Trump, that's the opposite of boring.

How much more evidence do we need that the Clintons are dirty rats and she has no business being POTUS? The fact that she even has a chance at being elected points to a larger problem....the low ethics bar that Americans are willing to accept. We are to blame for people like her and Trump as the two choices for Pres.

Not enough people give a damn about our country anymore. :(
Agreed, and well said. Nonetheless, one of these two horrible people WILL be our next President.

But not with my vote.

Guccifer 2.0, another member of the vast right wing conspiracy after poor Hillary who is but a mere victim.

This is going to be the best presidential election of my lifetime! More historic firsts! The first female candidate and the first candidate under investigation by the FBI!

You must be completely ignorant of the FBI investigations of political figures during Hoover's tenure. And long before and after, history repeats. Just drivel on.

Um, those investigations were to gather information to give Hoover more leverage, not criminal investigations due to blatant criminal activity.

I think someone else asked you to identify the "FREE STUFFz"....

BTW calling it "FREE STUFFz" are you 13?

edit NM, my 13 year old speaks more intelligently than that. I'm going with 10.

The AP is reporting this today -

This version updates with State Department clarifying that security features on the department's computer system were disabled. An earlier version reported that the security features on Clinton's home server were disabled.
The emails, reviewed by The Associated Press, show that State Department technical staff disabled software on their systems intended to block phishing emails that could deliver dangerous viruses. They were trying urgently to resolve delivery problems with emails sent from Clinton's private server

If the activity is so blatant then why is it still just an investigation? Do you think charges are imminent?

My guess is that you will say if charges are filed against her it's because the evidence indicated it. If charges aren't filed against her it's evidence of corruption. Can you point to a set of circumstances where no charges are filed where you are willing to accept that you were wrong about the 'blatant criminal activity'?

If the State Dept was having problems w/ email from Clinton's server they were having the same problems with email from a lot of other servers. If I understand IT depts, they'll do what it takes to keep the boss happy & blow the rest out their ass for more important stuff, like a game tournament or posting here.... There are obviously reasons that the State Dept receives non-govt email.

It just keeps the false narrative in play.

I just find it funny that conservatives' trust in the FBI basically hinges on it giving them the result they want. It's not like conservatives have all the information at their fingertips to make an equivalently sound judgment and they don't seem to care. She's guilty in their minds already, now the only question is if the FBI is guilty too. Dictionary definition of motivated reasoning.

Of course she's guilty. She killed Vince Foster, didn't she?

This IT stuff is too confusing to me. Can some experts weigh in, on the range of 1 to having Trump as our president, how bad of a clusterfvck is it?

It would be a sliding scale.

1. FBI recommends indictment, Lynch refuses.
2. FBI doesn't recommend indictment.

1 would be much smellier than 2 and would be harder to explain as not being political.

You guys really don't think she did nothing wrong do you?

Have you ever used Norton or mcafee and had it fuck up your system so much that you disable it or uninstall it just to get some work done? That's essentially what the "IT" person did.
