Like I said, pull back your foreskin, tape it at the base of the peniswith a bandaid so it doesn't go back, and walk around like that for a week. Try masturbating while you are at it. Cus that's what it'll feel like without a foreskin. If you like it, by all means proceed. I know I wouldn't be too happy.

I guess you can say this because you've done this and personally compared it to being circumcised? Not to mention after time, it will become less senstive, so while this taping it up for a week idea might give you a rough idea of how bad it's going to suck at first, I don't think it would be a valid comparison to how it feels in the long term.

Well, you can keep it taped more than a week till it becomes insensitive. Then if you don't mind, you can get the operation, and you will already be used to your glans being exposed all the time.

That's actually not a bad idea. Taping is really cumbersome, but if I just pull the skin all the way back, it will usually stay there until I force it back down.

I had problems retracting my foreskin
so... doctor's advice to remove it for hygiene purposes

ironically , at 11, I had torsion testicals
and needed an operation there too

so for 2 straight years I had to go through operations on my groin... bloody unlucky!

I think it's become less and less common to be circumcised. Okay, what is the point of circumsision now days?????? I mean, biblically the law was done away with because of Christ and the New Testiment.. So why do we keep on doing it???

I have heard of other reasons like for health er something... but thats all I know.. anyone else know??

I for one am glad that there are more and more parents who are questioning this practice and not having it done. My wife and I agonized over this after our son was born and I am very happy that we have a pediatrician who did not try to pressure us into having it done. He was very informative and left the decision entirely up to us-didn't try to sway us one way or the other. He did tell us that he felt there was no medical reason for doing the procedure though. We actually had an appointment to have him circumcised but when we went in and talked to the doctor about it we decided to wait and do some more research on the subject.

We ultimately decided not to have my son circumcised.

BTW-Both our parents thought we should have our baby circumcised. :roll:

Edit-I am circumcised...in case anyone is interested.
