This is definitely a strong feeling issue!
My husband was circumcized as a baby, and that was one of the reasons I chose to have both my boys circumcized. My first son, had a very "tight" foreskin that was very hard to retract so for him it definitely was for health reasons. My first was done at 6 weeks, cause I was torn as whether to do it or not. My 2nd was done at a week old.
There's absolutely was no pain involved. They put a cream on and around the baby's penis that numbs the whole area, then after 1 hour, they use needles to freeze everything. Both my boys did'nt make a sound when that was done. Then when all is completely frozen, the Dr. literally pulls up the skin and snips. As he does that, we gave the baby a brown sugar ball dipped in grapefruit juice to distract him. Neither of my boys cried at all during the surgery and it only took about 10 mins. if that.
It took about 2 days to heal, and all we had to do was apply vaseline to the tip to avoid irritation.
As for a circumsized penis feeling more numb...my husband does have fantastic stamina, but he certainly does'nt have any complaints about the end result (if you know what I mean).
I don't really have any preference myself...my ex was uncircumsized, and had no stamina. I'm sure it was just a meer coincidence.
