Best of wishes to you and your wife, hope she recovers soon. In the meantime, you might want to bring the tree to her!
I will have to post some pics soon.
Going to see son, DIL and granddaughters for Christmas so not putting up decorations this year. House next door looks like the Griswold's so I want to buy this

The tree that I have at my office desk is reflective of the days that I need to go into the office.

Ah yes, the Christmas stroke. My mom had her first one last year 2 days after Christmas and her second one a week ago. (she is still with us). I was talking to the manager at her complex and she said that her dad had a stroke last year 5 days before Christmas. Maybe Christmas is getting too exciting and we need to calm things down. Our tree is still in its box in the garage. Wife had a mini-stroke about 10 days ago. Spent a week in the hospital, she's now in a skilled nursing facility where she's SUPPOSED to be getting some physical therapy...hasn't happened yet. IF she's going to come home for Christmas, I'll bust a move and get the tree up and decorated...and some of the misc. decorations she puts up in the house...if not...fuck it.
I love where you live. I would like to start walking in those trees and come back in a couple of hours. Hard to find something like that in SoCal.I do, with mixed success. One year I cut off too many roots on the initial extraction, and last year's got hit by the landscaper's weedwhip.
This is the best one. Pic was taken August last year. I didn't capture the sparkling dew you could see in person. I think this was from five christmases ago. It started about the same size as the tree in this thread...
