Um, do you even know when the United States of America was formed? If we follow your example every white person in this country would get reparations for the Salem Witch Trials.

Quoted for possibly the dumbest analogy I've read on this forum. What exactly do the salem witch trials have to do with the victims being white? Why would that at all excuse hundreds of years of enslaving captured africans and their ancestors? How are those in any way equivalent atrocities in your mind, even if I were to somehow accept that those witches were burned because they were white?

And you are entitled to your opinion. Regardless of how wrong it is.

OMG I actually liked your post because, drum roll please, I actually agree with you again. We have stop this before you become labeled as a bleeding heart liberal and I get labelled as a right winger since those are the only two denominations of opinions allowed here at ATPAN. Right and wrong have nothing to do with politics and everything to do with morals and ethics.:D

I'm sure these guys wouldn't mind being turned black, they don't even see color, amiright.

Considering that almost every group here has endured some hardship of this nature over the course of history your point is mute.

I think nobody should have a dedicated month and we should all be equal. As long as we have "special people" with dedicated months we will never be equal.

I dunno if you are a straight white male or not but I am, and our special month is every day of every month of the year. Life is good.

What possible definition are you using for "hardship of this nature"? As in, the "nature" of the hardship of being captured and enslaved and then having your children enslaved and their children enslaved and their children enslaved and so on for 20 generations, then "freed" by the government only to be persecuted for another 20? Oh and don't forget raped and murdered, they were that too. Millions of them, by their "masters" who's great great grandchildren are now frothily cheering Trump at his rallies. Or maybe they're here posting on this forum?

What the F are you talking about? You made a terrible analogy and now you appear to be using the "Don't you know that white people have suffered too?" argument. Sorry dude, but your 40 months of internment in Frenso was not equal to the enslavement of millions of africans for hundreds of years. You could possibly make an argument that the Native Americans suffered "worse" because they mostly were killed off (by disease and war of extermination), but they were not systematically enslaved and they do not come close to the numbers of slaves that were imported here as property by our government. I can't think of a single terrible thing white people have "suffered" unduly in their existence in America. Arguably pearl harbor or 911 would be the biggest undeserved atrocities suffered by white people in the US.... compare that to centuries of oppression and enslavement.

While its unfortunate that slavery occurred and is still occurring in the form of human trafficking around the world how are we responsible for things that happened centuries ago? Equality vs superiority are two different concepts and what BLM wants is superiority and that is pure manure. I will never support any actions that place one group in a superior and unfair position above another which is what the blacks want. This is why we have laws in place at the federal level in the form of administrative laws. Ever heard of the Equal Rights or Civil Rights Acts?

Equality be damned is their motto and I will never support them so you're wasting your time with me. As a minority I'm tired of hearing about how somebody was too lazy to learn their curriculum at the same school I went to and in the same classes but now because they are black they feel disadvantaged. Give me a break! Yes I am biased against willfully ignorant people so if you couldn't be bothered to learn in school then that is on you buddy. You can rail against whites all you want but I've personally been discriminated against by many different groups so I understand what it is like to be non white and at a disadvantage.

I suppose that next you'll want employers to lower their standards so more unqualified workers will be able to get a better job? Sorry buddy but I think that standards should be raised to make us more competitive in the global workplace as our competitors are doing. I'll never support a $15 minimum wage either which is absolutely ludicrous.

i was on the train yesterday and some guy was standing in between the doorway and the seats with a bicycle, he didnt move it or anything so i had to walk over/kick the wheel. i go down a few rows past the first couple rows of seats. there were several loud people of color sitting in them, i could hear them clearly from where i was tho. we go a few stops down and they are telling the guy to ditch the bike, so he gets out and yells hey everybody, free bike here, take ur free bike! then he gets back on the train and sits with the other people of color and they all started laughing. am i racist for assuming that it was a stolen bike? im sure it was. yea its anecdotal, but virtually every time i personally have ever seen anyone flouting the law like smoking weed on the subway or just stinking like weed, like in they are obviously carrying alot, theyre always not white you know.

not sure if trolling or just mentally challenged.

yup, no other group of people has had horrible things done to them, just blacks. The Holocaust? Pffft, whites. Holodomor? Pffft, whites. Chinese labour? Pffft, Asians. Japanese Internment Camps? Pffft, Asians. Native Americans? Pffft, not blacks. And lets not forget Hispanics and native peoples of Central and South America. They have never been subjugated ever, am I right?

Very well put sir. With that said I believe that our current President Obama should serve as a shining example of what happens when a minority applies themselves, gets an education and then uses it in the real world to overcome biases and other difficulties to become successful in life. If you work at McDonald's, want a $15 minimum wage and believe that being denied it is racist then you need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid and come back to reality.

Lol. So according to you, the "hardships" white Americans have suffered since the colonies came into existence include "Chinese Labor", "the Holodomor", "Japanese internment camps", and of course the greatest hardship white people ever suffered: "Native Americans"? LMAO!

White victimhood in America is quite interesting: It appears whenever other races suffer, white people are the ones who earn the right to claim victimhood. Even when the victims are in other countries (Holocaust, Holomodor, "South america") or when the victims were themselves victimized by American white people (chinese labor, japanese internment camps, native americans). It's quite a gig you've got going here!

This victimhood is evident in your post, and in Puffnstuff's whining about BLM. It's also evident in American culture, where police constantly blame BLM for sewing discontent, when it is their own victimization of the black community that is the whole reason for BLM's existence. I still can't make out whether you're racist, or an idiot. I'm leaning towards idiot, based on the terrible arguments I've seen in this thread.

you know nothing about me or my ethnicity. Between Nazi Concentration Camps and the Holodomor, I have no direct relatives alive in Europe.

Also you can't seem to grasp that others have suffered far worse than black Americans have.

You really are a racist piece of shit troll.

I am done dealing with you.

LOL! How did you suffer "worse" than centuries of slavery and millions dead? Because your relatives in other countries had hardships totally unrelated to slavery and the US?

It is unfortunate that American education is so poor, that it has somehow convinced you that people dying anywhere is somehow an excuse for slavery, or that your "suffering" due to contemplation of the suffering of people in other countries is somehow equivalent to being enslaved. You are basically advertising how much of a racist moron you are, but that's cool!

Go with that.

The fact that you cannot acknowledge other groups suffering is a sure sign of your true intent.

Don't stop speaking your mind brother and don't be hindered by someone as narrow minded and racist as the likes of him. I don't want to see any group wrongfully suffer at the hands of others but to continuously seek an unfair advantage is just absurd.

BLM is a very specific cause. They are only concerned with police shootings against black people.

That is how it started (and underlying it not just police shootings but the disparity in policing of the black vs white/asian communities as a whole) and as such it was a real and just movement. It's since morphed from that into being a movement in search of a problem. There's too much "blame whites for everything" going on and not enough focus on the original issue. Plenty of would be activists out looking for something to be outraged about so that they too can feel they're part of something.

Whatever would you do without youtube videos to tell you what to think.
You'll never know, since you don't watch any.

You may find it hard to believe (or impossible) but I see others' perspectives as well. I find your side lacking (to say the least!)

The article exists as it is, another call for white genocide. Sometimes it's by muslims, sometimes it's by black people (f*ck your 'of colour' crap) and sometimes it's by caucasions you've got riddled with debilitating "white guilt".

...and if someone disagrees with white genocide, you call them "white nationalists", "white supremacists", or just KKK.

You marxist progressives are just full of self-destructive bullsh*t.

...but the good news is you've finally screamed loud enough for the rest of the world to see you for the psychotic nutjobs you are and things are finally juuuuuuust starting to turn around. One can only hope it'll be in time before you lot burn the world to the ground.

The only people burning the world to the ground in the next four years are the deplorable republicans, since they control most branches of government. Like you've astutely observed, we don't have much time before it happens.

Of course! I'm not ignorant because I know what you lot believe and why - and you consider me an idiot because I reject it.

I haven't seen protests in the news in weeks. And then again protests are fine. Unless they go violent. A small percentage of the whole lot. And I am pretty sure some ruffneck anarchists protesting here and there aren't gonna burn this country down. Unless perhaps you think a LOT less of this country than what it is. Is that how you feel deep down?

When this country burns down it's going to be by those in power.

Guess who's in power?

Guess who's in power?

Interesting twist. Your side seems to LOVE power when it holds it, and will abuse it (and spend others' money) to their hearts' content - usually feeling "I deserve this" the whole while.
When your side does not hold power, anyone in authority is automatically "evil". This isn't new but it's nice to see it so clear-cut.
