Christian "science" fair

I found this to be pretty funny. And I think its even funnier that they call this a "science" fair.

My favorite project titles:

"Rocks Can't Evolve, Where Did They Come From Mr. Darwin?" - Anna Reed (grade 6)
"Thermodynamics Of Hell Fire" - Tom Williamson (grade 12)

Sorry if this is a repost. I'll be honest I didn't search extensively to see if it was 😛

I don't associate me with the Christians who believe science is stupid. I believe in God and Jesus, and all of that, but I still believe in evolution and the Big Bang Theory and whatnot. I just believe that God made the Big Bang happen, thus making him the Creator.

Dr. Richard Paley is a teacher of Divinity and Theobiology at Fellowship University

Theobiology?

WTF?

I loved that episode of Bullsh!t! on Showtime about the Christian fundamentalist wackos trying to get the teaching of evolution out of schools or at least side-by-side with Creationism.

No, definitely not. I have my own set of unique beliefs. And those are the ones I go by.

No, I was TRYING to avoid a flamewar. And once again, why don't you just lay off, dude?

bwahaha I thought it was all a load of crap until I read this winner:

"2nd Place: "Women Were Designed For Homemaking"

Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets; biology shows that women were designed to carry un-born babies in their wombs and to feed born babies milk, making them the natural choice for child rearing; social sciences shows that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay; and exegetics shows that God created Eve as a companion for Adam, not as a co-worker."

WELL DONE! Inarguable proof!!

Umm, I believe the whole article was a goof.

down in the hole, jesus tries to crack a smile, beneath another shovel load.

Edit: Now that I think about it that song makes good sense considering what's coming up in two days 😛

There's no avoiding a flamewar in most any religious thread here on AT. That's a fact.

Another fact is that you are annoying and it's so easy to push your buttons.

Take your own advice and go back to GH and Networking. Or was that like an Alec Baldwin/Barbra Streisand promise?

This _has_ to be just a big joke. A very funny one though. "My Uncle Is A Man Named Steve (Not A Monkey)." That's hilarious.
