Just listened to his convention speech.
The guy has an engaging personal appeal going for him. He's a pretty dynamic speaker. His personal back-story and approach are both devoid of Romney's stiff-necked, "born on third base and thinks he hit a triple" way.
If Romney loses, Christie could well be the 2016 GOP Presidential nominee.
He likes to portray himself as a corruption fighting, clean government type. But multiple instances from his own past actions paint a decidedly different picture:

I'd like to see those who wish to counter the cumulatively damning portrait these documented incidents portray do so with fact-based, linked and documented rebuttals, and not just rhetorical deflection.
I'd also like a pony. I'm not all that optimistic about either prospect.![]()

I don't think he will play well in the Republican primary especially the early states.
