I've never eaten at chik-fil-a but since I don't know what I'm missing and I feel like eating there would be handing money directly to the treasonous GOP, I'm not gonna.

I hear they sent money to the Orlando shooting victims. Which may not sound impressive but chick fil a has been anti-gay for many years.

Do you hate Islam as much as you hate Christianity? If not, you are a bigot.

They spend their money in accordance with Christian ideals. That's really all there is to it. Do you hate them for being Christian?

Well, that escalated quickly.

Le sigh........

Lets just get back to talking about overpriced sub par chicken, and debating the merits of coleslaw vs waffle fries. Ill start:
Had chick filla once, it was mediocre at best and I wouldnt ever go back again. The fries are garbage and I can get more value from 2 BK "chicken" sandwiches for $5 than I can at CFA. Whats this big appeal? I think its the same thing as paneras appeal, ive had panera several times (through catering, ive never bought it) and was never once inclined to seek it out on my own.

Yeah, if you're just looking at a "value" perspective the BK sandwiches are definitely more food. I'll eat them on occasion, they're "okay" at best, on a good day. CFA sandwiches are good, and absolutely justify the three bucks and change for a sandwich.
And don't get me started on BK fries, they were good fifteen years ago, the fries they have now are part of the reason I mostly stopped going there. Just awful. Waffles fries, well-done, are tasty.

There's no value in BK "chicken" sandwich. Zero. It's garbage and shouldn't be considered human food. The patty is so processed and awful that I had better chicken patty in school cafeteria. It's rancid. I'm sure prison grade chicken patty is better than BK "chicken". Value isn't the cheapest price. It has to have worth to have value. BK chicken sandwich is not fit for human consumption.

BK used to be really good at one point, but my more recent and very rare (I think twice over the last 5 years?) experiences there were terrible. Something about that burger...I think it was made from sawdust.

Oh, I agree. I used to love BK Whopper. But they ruined what was once great fast food burger and turned it into sawdust like you said. Wendy's Dave's Double is still solid. But I've given up on Burger King.

If a rancid grease soaked sponge is not what you favor, then the BK original chicken sandwich is not for you. However, if said sponge is what you crave then the BK original chicken sandwich is seven kinds of awesome and four kinds yummy. Get it with cheese.

That's actually a pretty spot-on description.
I mean, I like the McRib but I'm not going to try and convince anyone else it's something they should eat.

This is why Chick-fil-A is awesome. They just gave me two free foods just for using their app. I'm going to take the free 8 piece nuggets and spicy deluxe chicken sandwich.
