They never did "hate." That was just the impression given by runaway media (including social media).
The founders believe homosexuality is a sin, but they love the "sinner" with "brotherly Christian love."
They helped fund the ugandan 'kill the gays' bill. If that is not hate, then I don't know what is.
They did, but the ugandan thing, along with their support of 'reparative therapy' is the real problems. There is a lot of groups that oppose gay marriage, and as long as it is a peaceful opposition then that is acceptable.I thought it was more than that... I thought they donated money to organizations that actively opposed gay marriage.
They have not been supporting the 'hate' nor 'anti-homosexual' groups for quite some time now.
Their statement was they did not know those groups full mission.
The public never forgets it seems and never remembers the full story.
That is completely untrue, Their public tax records show that all they did was create a new organization "Chick-fil-A Foundation" which they funnel the money to in order to fund those objectionable groups. They have not changed their stance or funding of hate groups, they have only gotten better at moving the money around to make it less obvious.
