Holy fuck, you're stupid! That is a separate chain that happens to be owned by CFA. That's why they named it Truett's Luau, not simply CFA. Chick-fil-a is a chicken joint. Come back to reality, CZroe, it's not that bad here.

There is only one Truett's Luau and, as I said, my point was made perfectly well without it.

Not all KFCs have buffets in them either. The CFA Dwarf House within walking distance of my home also has burgers and waited tables. It isn't unique and it isn't a different chain.

"My case was made perfectly well before. You've never seen a chicken bone at CFA. There is a BIG difference between the box and bucket chicken places. They have more in common with Burger King, Wendy's, and McDonald's. Ranking them with box/bucket chicken places is like ranking Arby's or Burger King with steak houses."

The Dwarf House. Why did CFA name it that? Wait, I know, because it isn't a regular CFA. You keep finding restaurants that aren't CFA's in attempt to make your case because you're stupid. Really, you are. The fact that KFC is owned by the same company that owns Taco Bell doesn't make KFC any less a chicken joint.

Also, please tell me you didn't make the trip to the Luau just to shoot that video. I hope you at least managed to get yourself fed.

No one treats them any different than a non-Dwarf House CFA. The vast majority of customers get typical counter or drive thru fast food service. My coworkers and neighbors, ALSO within walking distance, don't even seem to realize that there is anything different about our "Dwarf House" CFA and never refer to it as anything more than "Chik-fil-a."

There are many Dwarf House CFAs. Doesn't change a thing and only STRENGTHENS my argument. No one argues the a KFC with a buffet is not a KFC. KFC is a box/bucket chicken place where I can order a leg of chicken. CFA isn't, wasn't, and never will be. They have FAR more in common with Burger King and Taco Bell. The difference is AMPLIFIED at these particular places, but only an idiot can't see the same difference in the "regular" places.

Spent over $35. Cran-lime was WAY too sweet. Ours was the only table with no salt and pepper. The waitress kept saying "ya'll" which detracted a bit from the Hawaiian theme/atmosphere, but she was as nice and polite as any CFA employee you've ever met. Bread was good. Some dude was being paid to go around and play a ukulele, proving me wrong about that not being a marketable skill.

Keep doubling down. Now I'm imagining you lying face down on your tear stained pillow sobbing in rage, "CFA is NOT a chicken joint!" But, it's still a chicken joint.

I'm not crying about Arby's not being a steak house but if I notice a trend of people exclusively comparing it to one I will correct them too.

Overpriced, homophobic, cooks in peanut oil.

On the plus side, they usually hire your typical white teenage cheerleader types (at least every one I've been to), so you can get your pedo on pretty good.

Perhaps you should take all the arguments you've presented here and plot them on a Venn diagram to better clarify your logic.

Man, I wish I could go there. The food looks delish!

Yet another reason Chik-Fil-A is awesome!

Thanks CZroe! :cool::thumbsup:

The overpriced chicken sandwiches cooked in peanut oil do not prefer homosexual lifestyles?

They switched from peanut oil to canola oil years back. Probably due to all the sissies with peanut allergies. As for being overpriced, regular Chick-Fil-A sandwich is $2.99 here. That's cheaper than McDonald's Big Mac, BK Whopper, and Wendy's Single, and Arby's roast beef. Chick-Fil-A combo meal is $5.79 here. Again, cheaper than all the above burger/sandwich joints.

As for the Dwarf house, Truett Cathy first opened the Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, GA. It was later renamed Dwarf house. From the Dwarf house came Chick-Fil-A. They opened the first Chick-Fil-A at Greenbriar Mall. Dwarf house = Chick-Fil-A. It's the same. I've eaten at both the original Hapeville Dwarf House and Greenbriar Chick-Fil-A.

It's not a chain. There is only one "Truett's Luau" currently. "Chick-Fil-A" is on every sign, every napkin, every condiment packet, every bag...

It's a special Chick-Fil-A in Fayetteville.

The one in my home town (Newnan) also has a dining area with waited tables and they serve beef products including hamburgers.

I, too, always wonder why anyone would compare CFA to KFC/Popeyes/Church's. Practically every fast food place has chicken sandwiches (McD's, Wendy's, BK, Dairy Queen, etc). CFA's signature sandwich and namesake just happens to be a chicken sandwich instead of a Big Mac(tm) or Whopper(tm). They even claim to have "invented" the chicken sandwich (I dunno...maybe in the context of fast food or something).

It's just weird hat some people think the logical comparison is with KFC/Popeyes/Church's. Doesn't make sense to me.

The sign says "Chick-Fil-A."

If I recall correctly, you have to look everywhere to find one place that says "Dwarf House" and it's just a small carving above the little kids' doorway.

They never did "hate." That was just the impression given by runaway media (including social media).

The founders believe homosexuality is a sin, but they love the "sinner" with "brotherly Christian love."

Yep. It was a non-story that the libs and militant gays jumped all over. They tried to turn the owners into Fred Phelps II and they failed.

So what if their ownership is devote christian? They are also closed on Sundays, which sucks when you pull in wanting a sandwich but at the same time, at least every single one of their employees gets Sunday off including many holidays that other chains stay open. I wish more non-essential/non entertainment related businesses would be closed Sunday like that.

Yep: "chicken joint." Note that the first sandwichs shown on the menu were beef and pork.

Granted, that's not a normal CFA (waitress/table service, order-eat-pay-tip meal sequence, bread basket, waterfalls inside and out, metal silverware, etc) but you can get normal service there too. Also, the closest CFA to me does this too minus the Hawaiian theme (CFA Dwarf House). Local KFC has a buffet but I can't say I've ever been asked what appetizer I would like or if I would like to see the dessert menu.

My case was made perfectly well before. You've never seen a chicken bone at CFA. There is a BIG difference between the box and bucket chicken places. Militant gays, lol. I'll believe that when I see a pink camo technical full of masked gymnasts going down the road. Of course, by then it will be too late, right? ;)
