There is zero evidence Assange 'aided or encouraged it' any more than the New York Times 'aided or encouraged' Daniel Ellsberg by being a newspaper.
Being a publisher means accepting the information and publishing it, just as the New York Times did and dozens of other American newspapers, and papers are doing now.
It's what they are looking for evidence of and that is all i said.
Let's say i have information on a specific subject and am approached by a reporter who encourages me to commit a crime by telling him about it so i do, evidence is found that he encouraged me, sought me out as one who has information, well there you go, he's now guilty of a crime.
Aiding would mean that he in some way helped me smuggle the information that he knew was illegal for me to hand out.
I'm not saying they will find evidence of any of that since i know nothing about how they handled the information but that is what they are investigating.
I'm willing to bet they will find something, Julian strikes me as quite a retarded twat who is very careless.
