Cheating or not cheating?

I will keep this short as people hate long thread.

I am close with our student at work, we spend a lot of time together and there is a lot of harmles flirting going on.

Last Friday, we spent the evening together, we went out to eat, hung out around town a bit and then went back to my place to watch a movie. There was no physical contact involved.

Now, I am single but she is not. To this, my coworker says she is cheating (his girlfriend concurs), but I say it is not.

Vote away so I can rub it in his ugly Anandtech reading face. (he is reading this post now)

she is cheating.Believe me I know.She is not cheating physically yet, but she is cheating emotionally.Bang her now.

Yeah she is.. how would you like it if you had a girlfriend and she was spending evenings, and dinners with some other guy...

It could be considered cheating if she lied to her bf about what she did. Otherwise, it's completely harmless.

We should link him to your other threads where you bragged about peeing in her butt 😉

If she can't tell her SO about what she did, then she is cheating.

Yep, really depends if her SO knows about it. Even then she still could be emotionally cheating. The situation seems more like cheating than not.

flirting != cheating.

watching movies at a dudes house != flirting.

knowing how atoters operate, the poster probably thought that what she was doing, such as talking about her cat, was flirting. when in fact, it is not. see, he probably thinks she is coming onto him when in reality she would be abhorred by the idea. so, as he is construing her normal everyday behavior as flirting, she is not cheating. she merely has a male friend.
