An attempt was made, lol

It just reinforces my criticism over how the whole relocation worked for everyone: The only team that really needed to move to LA, was the Raiders. Neither the Rams nor the Chargers really have a solid fan base that was so dedicated, and actually remained in all the years of their absence. It's always been a Raiders town, and I wouldn't be surprised if it still isn't.

Things would be so different in terms of market, but well, it's still different organizations. Raiders ownership has been super sketchy since Big Al sailed away. scarfaced son is kinda...eh. no. I don't think he's at all interested in that kind of history. and of course, I don't think billionaire modern sports owner bros with their luxury box-buying young tech bro jerks are really interested in attracting that LA Raiders fan base to their new fancy stadium, you know what I mean?

LA is probably the one town in warm weather where hockey has a more passionate following than gridiron.

yeah, but if things had worked out differently like I mentioned above, Raiders would make for a much different football scene in LA. They have the fans and would be dedicated. These other organizations are just...eh, what the NFL wants to put in LA, to keep the others out of LA. you know...

basically, it's like Miami fans for pro football (or most pro sports, really). Just flakey and don't really gaf. It's just a different attitude with a really different scene. Football isn't part of that life. Those kind of, all-of-Miami fans are basically what fans for Rams or the Chargers would always be like in LA.
