We wouldn't even have half the tech we're using nowadays if it weren't for Tesla's ideas. It's possible that some of his ideas that people outright dismissed may be true after all.

Yes it is. Someone proposes a hypothesis and then tests are done to see if that hypothesis can be disproven. In this case, Tesla proposed the hypothesis that matter can travel faster than light. Experiments seemed to indicate that this was not the case. Now, experiments are showing that maybe that hypothesis is correct. That's exactly how science is done. If no one ever proposed a hypothesis that seemed a bit outlandish, we wouldn't have pretty much anything science has ever shown ever.

A huge potential discovery is made here, something that changes the way we will view the universe and these kinds of discoveries are happening all the time. Now we have had people clamoring that the "science is settled" when it comes to MMGW, yet we don't know jack shit about shit. This is the point I was trying to make, we don't know shit.

No it's not. A hypothesis requires evidence behind it in order to create it. Tesla did not have any evidence supporting his idea that particles can travel faster than light. Einstein had evidence supporting his position that light is the universal speed limit
