I've been with sprint since '98 and am pretty happy with them... have seen and used all kinds of other phones in a lot of regions.. the only other company that has decent nationwide coverage is ATT.

my brother's company just gave him a cingular phone, he hates the service. gets cut off, does not work everywhere he goes.

The only problem that i have with sprint is the wait time for CS... but then again I don't know what the competetions wait times are so I can't really say. Just a couple of weeks ago I went frm NH to NY-NJ and OH, thru 9 states in all and I dropped signal for only less than a 20 mile segment in the wildernesses of PA.

A few months ago drove from Chicago to NC and had no problems along the way or there.

Okay...here's the story. My friend hooks me up with his father's employee discount code. We go to an ATT wireless store to get an amazing freaking deal. They type up all my info, and when it comes to choosing my area code, they tell me that the closest is Van Nuys. By the ways, I live in Montrose which is close to Glendale. Even though Van Nuys is an 818 area code, my parents and people in my area would still get charged long distance because Van Nuys is not too close to my city. I was so pissed. I tried calling the ATT customer care people...the bastard said he would connect me and then hung up.

voicestream, nokia 8290, 6 months, 1 dropped call.

they advertise too much though, they should put the money on other things.

customer service very responsive, don't have to wait long.
