Caught my friend's gf in a lie, end of a 1 year relationship

She's been acting weird lately.

I'm over at his house 2 days ago and its about 11:30pm.

He calls her cell and some guy answers, there is club music in the background.

Guy gives him some BS saying that his GF is in the bathroom and hangs up.

He calls again at about 11:55pm, same jackass answers and hangs up.

Calls once more a bit later and leaves a message that you can guess at.


His girl calls him at about 1am and says:

"Hey, I was at Applebees and I left my phone there and I guess some guys were messing with it, but I went back there and picked it up."



Highly suspicious but what are you going to do?


So... it occurs to me... wait a minute, Applebees closes at 11pm, a full hour BEFORE the guys supposedly at Applebees answered and at least 2 hours before she claimed to get her phone from Applebees.

(We called to double check closing time the next day.)


Anyway, he calls his girl and leaves another message that you can guess at and the bitch hasn't called him back...

We were both amazed that she got caught that way.

Its usually better to make up a story beforehand, then work to make it halfway true.

Example, spend enough time at applebees so friends can say they saw you there. Also, check up on closing times and such. You know, the details. Cuz its the details that make or break ANY story.

Here's a better idea...If you want to be with someone else so bad, end your current relationship. And spend all that effort & thinking you would have used on lying, to make your new one work:roll:

Around here Applebees closes at different times on different days. Yo usaid you called, but you didn't just say what time do you guys close, did you?

Say it was a saturday and they close at 1 (the day he called her), and you guys call applebees on sunday and ask them what time they close, which happens to be when they close at 11.

Anyway, if its true, screw her mom.
