Think of it this way..you bring £1000 against the casinos bank which is basically unlimited. Who will survive?

Read up about house edge here: http://wizardofodds.com/houseedge (That site in general is pretty good about explaining the math in simple terms behind the different games)

To put it simply, the casino isnt built on winners. Go to have a good time, not to win money unless you are betting against other people minus the house take (sports, poker or parimutuel something, the house gets a straight take from these games so they dont care who wins and loses)

You should just stop instead of finding a game with better odds. Most likely you will just increase your losses. Roulette is a really slow game, so a small bankroll can let you play for a long time. Craps or Blackjack could eat through 240 really fast.
