This is so wrong, I am forced to wonder if you are being deliberately disingenuous, or merely parading your ignorance. We were certain (the math was strong bro) there were other planets orbiting other stars, we just could not prove it. Until...we did.

But...if you'd tone it down a bit and comprehend my point, you'll understand why I used that.

Obviously, we're limited because of the limits of our instruments. For example, we can't go back or forward in time, because...wait for it...we have no time travel device. If we had a time travel device, we wouldn't be limited to the present.

Go figure.

This is easy to understand. Of course the singularity has always existed, because as far as our instruments dictate, that's "to the best of our knowledge".

Once we have instruments that hurdle this, the 'eternal singularity' will be relegated to the dustbin of history, like other disproven theories, like the Steady State theory.

Comprehending your points is like a cat and a laser pointer. The point will forever move and be of no substance under paw.

I keep thinking about how to respond, but always stop because I'm not sure about what you are referring to with some of this.

What exactly do you mean when you use the word singularity?

When you refer to the use of instruments, are you aware of their limitation with regards to horizons? For example, black hole event horizon, cosmological horizon

Shira actually introduced the word to the discussion, so I'm simply quoting him...so ask him.

Simply put, when I am using "limitations", its in a general sense, indicating not being able to move anymore forward at that time.

Do you come into these threads thinking you will change peoples minds about evolution?

What if on some level it may be more about brainwashing himself to ensure he does not change his own mind about evolution.

The singularity had no beginning because we can't see "before" the singularity.

Almost like the entire universe only had 9 planets at one time because we didn't "see" other planets.

See my above post.

See above.

The singularity had no beginning. Period. Not because "We can't see before" it. Are you a physicist? Stop making pronouncements about things you don't have the vaguest knowledge of.

So you're stuck: The singularity had no beginning. Just like you claim about God. Thus, the universe cannot have been "designed." Just like you claim about God.

Thus the God you believe in cannot have "designed" the universe.

You don't know what the term means, but that isn't gonna stand in your way of making a bunch of ridiculous claims about it.

That pretty much sums you up, I'd say.

Google 'initial singularity', and read the wikipedia page

I'll get to the horizon thing later.

I don't have to be a physicist to know that the math can ONLY explain what happened right after, not at or before, the singularity.

That makes enteral a relative term, in this context.

It's not necessary for math to "explain the singularity," any more than YOU think it's necessary for a holy book to "explain God."

You assert - without "explanation" - that God "had no beginning." And you think that's sufficient justification for claiming that God himself was not "designed." So how come - all of a sudden - you assert that an "explanation" is required as a prerequisite for the claim that the singularity had no beginning?

Or are you just enforcing a double-standard here in order to prop up your shaky house of divine cards?

I take my kids to the museum in Houston every summer at least, and either last year or the year before we saw the black hole show in the planetarium. One part of it was the approach to the event horizon, like that pic but in motion.

Who is pumping you full of this sjw meme? I meant whatever I say. The guy is autistic...

You perform that diagnosis yourself doctor?

You're not an SJW for this post, you're an SJW for constantly reaming people about their racism and sexism. You just aren't a very good one because you didn't get the ableism memo.

I mean it must be really hard to discern my joke. Lets talk about how he should of wrote "could have" and get mad he called us autistic. He must be a sjw (whatever the fuck that means)

It's "should have." You are really bad at English.

Glad you admit people are racist and sexist around here. Thats cool I guess.
