Well, I didn't considerate because it was just a backpack in a not expensive car. I didn't think people would break in for a backpack.

I understand the laptops thing, but whatever.

Then why don't you understand the backpack thing?

The percentage of students who have laptops in their backpacks these days is pretty high.

Since I am just on liability, my parents will have to pay for this window and the new textbooks. (They've got money now)

I am trying to get secured parking right next to my current building. They're a bit full at the moment, but they let me park my car in there for today because of it being broken into and not having a window.

It's funny. My parents neighborhood (a nice one) was having issues with burglars. Yet, I get robbed. 😛

Don't ever leave anything visible in your car when parked in Seattle, or your car will get broken in to. There are many bums and street kids in Seattle who do this, happens to just about everyone once.

I hate the U-district a lot for this reason. There are so many fucked up idiots in this place. Every time they ask for me for change or if I want to buy some drug I want to take a baseball bat to their face. ()🙂

Called some places. OEM glass is $207+tax. Aftermarket is $157+tax. (They'll come to me to replace it)

It's a honda civic. If I tinted all the windows then I doubt I'd even notice.

Since you were dumb enough to leave something where thieves could see it, you should have to pay for that window yourself.

Why should mom and dad have to pay for your stupidity? Drive around with clear plastic on the window until you get enough money to pay for it yourself.

No.

Yes, act like a grown up and be responsible for your actions.

Mommy and daddy aint gonna be there forever.

lol. I just don't want to pay for it all. I rather have money for things that are actually worth my pay. That's not being irresponsible, if anything.. very responsible. Using my money for what's actually worthwhile in the long run? Sounds responsible.

Not only are you a loser but also a moron. Sell the friggin car since you can't even maintain it yourself. Dumbass leaves his backpack in plain view in the city and doesn't think someone might break into his car to steal it.
