Think about it. Canadians are loved everywhere, Americans... err....
()🙂

Some fat Irish Italian she-wolf stated all Canadians are potheads and cheat on their wives within a minute of telling the group we where from Canada....mind you she was mentally unstable...

Uhh, Canadians are American. So are Mexicans.

Why? It's North AMERICA and they are apart of this continent the last time I checked. Now they are not United States Americans though. That's different.

Technically yes, but from what I understand it's assumed that American refers to a citizen of the US, while Canadians and Mexicans are referred to as such. Probably because we have such a long name for a country, and American was used instead of Unititeders (?) or Staters or something like that.

Ive never really understood why Americans dislike Canada. Maybe just trolling?

Probably trolling. I don't know anyone who actually hates Canada, just pokes fun at them (and generally it doesn't come up). Plus, while the US refers to Canada as the northern most state, Canada refers to us as the southern most province. I assume it's good natured ribbing on both sides, with a sprinkling of people who care too much.
The real question is, is it worse for a Canadian to be called American or French-Canadian? :hmm:

That being said, any Canadians want to go fuck with the Brits come 2012? I'll pretend to be Canadian and you pretend to be American. We can get offended when we're called either or, then get offended when people don't realize we were lying about nationality. While we're at it, lets go accept compliments from the Chinese, smile at the Japanese, hug the Indians, boss around Arabians, and inquire about the personal issues of Brazilians.

The best part is, they'll all probably think we're British. Haha, suckers.

Eh, sorta. It's not donation funded though. It's partly taxpayer funded, and then runs the rest of its revenue like any other TV network... ads.

They do have a lot of really great stuff. The news and sports are top-notch. CBC Radio is a bit hippy for my likes, but they have some neat new bands and stuff on it. Venture, The Passionate Eye... all good.

It's just the comments section on most of the web stories that drive me nuts 🙂

Dragons Den is good too.

Fascinating information! You mean that you shouldn't make fun of peoples weight or cloths, point rudely at them, get in a strangers personal space, stare at them, tell them they are a bunch of drunks or swear at them (unless they are Australian). Thank you tourism agency without this information I could have accidentally done all of these things. 😉

I'm surprised they didn't have anything about spitting on people or blowing your nose in your hand and then wiping it on someone.

Because United Statsians is clumsy in English.

Canadians and the rest of the world have an inferiority complex when it comes to the U.S., no news here.

It's a Canadian Goose

If all geese living in Canada are "Canadian Geese," what about Canada Geese living in the US?

(technically, there's no species called Canadian Goose...it's Canada Goose)

Mexicans and Canadians are NOT Americans...they're foreigners. 😛

Those of us from the United States of America are Americans. Just because Mexico and Canada are on the same continent, it doesn't make them Americans...although it probably makes them North Americans...()🙂
