I like "Portrait of a Killer" because the authors evidence convinces me that she is correct about the identity of Jack the Ripper.

The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons looks like 2 interesting books. In fact they're on my list once I finish up The Stand (uncut version), The Fire and Ice series, The Deathgate series and Swan Song.
i read both and liked them.
i personally liked angles and demons better.

(Basically went from nothing but sports -> way more reading)
R.A. Salvatore's Dark Elf Trilogy is CRAP, Shannara is 10x better.
