w00t i got a list of books that will last a long time.

also question--->> is "The DaVinci Code" a new book? cuz i was looking for it at the college lib, and i couldn't find it. But keep them coming, i am always looking for a good book to read, its soo much better than what i used to do, just watch TV. It has increased my vocab, (but as u can tell my spelling and grammer are still pretty bad), and introduced me to new and great things that i would have never known.

ps. the book i just read was "The autobiographt of Malcom X" GREAT BOOK, his life is just amazing what he went through to become who he was, and his potential was unmatched. And am I am not Black, if you wondering Y i read the book, i read just because i wanted to know more about him and what he did, i was taught soo little in school. I was told Martin Luther King Jr. was the number 1 black leader, but i think after reading the book, that before X was killed he could controll a large black population, espically in NYC.

Genome: The Autobiography of a Species in 23 Chapters by Matt Ridley.

An excellent work of non fiction. Though 4 years old now, it's still mostly current. Some of the ideas discussed will definetly fvck with your mind. If you thought females were hostile on the maco level, wait till you you get down to the cellular level. There's also just lots of wonderful bits about history of genetics, history of life, and how various cultures have reacted to genetics.

I really have to get around to posting my review of that book...

I am about to reread The Sight by David Clement-Davies. It's a Watership Down only with wolves and a bit of majic thrown in. He also has one called Fire Bringer about deer that is really good.

Anything by Robert McCammon is good. Somebody already brought up Swan Song which is excellent. I just reread The Wolf's Hour for the forth time a few weeks ago.

Brian Lumley's Necroscope series is great if your into espionage and vampires.

The reason I ask is that I read his books in this order: DaVinci Code, Digital Fortress, Redemption Point, Angels and Demons. My theory is that evey one of is books has been the EXACT SAME story with different people and theme, and by the fourth time through (Angels and Demons) I just couldn't enjoy it anymore. That is why I liked Angels and Demons less than the DaVinci Code.

I was actually thinking when I started Angels and Demons "Sh!t, somebody died in the prolouge, just like all the other books. OK, which close confidant/ father figure is going to turn out to be the bad guy? I bet I know who. Hmm, lets see. We still need the blatantly obvious bad guy who in the end just turns out to be the dupe, not the real bad guy. Ah, there he is.", etc.

You obviously have poor comprhension skills because the 4 books are NOT exactly the same.
 
Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is a great book...too bad douglas adams died 🙁
1984 is really good
Wizards First Rule Series - By Terry Goodkind was prob my favorite fantasty series
Hier to the Empire - A good star wars series
as a kid of loved ronald Dahl books lol
Left Behind seems to be selling well lol...
