No Doors fans in here?

Any person that attends college goes though a Doors phase. First you feel like you are the first person to "discover" them, usually while chemically altered. Then you buy their greatest hits and go on Doors overload for about three weeks. Then you go through "Doors burnout". That has lasted for the past 22 years for me lol.

While I appreciate what they did, I just CAN'T get into them. I tried.... I really tried. It's like listening to a church organ on a bad acid trip. Doesn't do it for me. What's it take besides being a burned-out hippy?

^give him credit. I *think* NS1 is a NIN homer, and he's doing what he can to eliminate them from the list.

good on him.

and, really, it's not like they stop being alternative just because "time." Those are their own genres.

deal with it
I'm just giving NS1 grief now that his musical man-crush is a geezer.

How did the Clash get missed? That is just wrong. London Calling, magnificent seven, rock the casbah, should I stay or should I go, white man in hammersmith Palais, white riot...

In case these bands have not already been mentioned:

Black Sabbath
Grand Funk
Sex Pistols
Rush
Steppenwolf
Steve Miller Band
Styx
Crosby Stills Nash and Young
Queen
Buffalo Springfield
Jethro Tull
ZZ Top
Grateful Dead
Van Halen

And christ if you are going to include GNR in the realm of classic rock, you might as well add U2.

Your list is pissing me off. Fuck 70s Fleetwood Mac. Go original or go the fuck home...

https://infotomb.com/cwizs

that's like telling me to stop listening to 70's pink floyd and listen to the good syd barrett shit. I think I've listened to more fleetwood mac in a weekend than I have my whole life - so many tracks I didn't even know were theirs (which is not necessarily a compliment).
