Hello guys, i thought of building a low budget system, based on ryzen 7 5700g, and asus prime b550m-a motherboard, but i have doubt whether these two might go on well with each other, thought of using, crucial CT2K16G4DFD832A ram kit, with crucial CT250P2SSD8 ssd, and fractal design ion gold 550 psu, thought of runnung ubuntu os, maybe as a small server!

Why are you concerned about that CPU and motherboard working well with each other?

The Ryzen 5700G is not that demanding of a CPU, and the motherboard is a decent board.

The only thing of concern would be the BIOS date of the motherboard.

That particular CPU was supported beginning with the 1401 BIOS, which was released on Dec 8, 2020. As long as the motherboard you get isn't a really old stock from whichever retailer you buy it from, you should be fine since it was released so long ago.

For any more details, you can go to the support section of the motherboard, and look at the BIOS updates, CPU support list, etc.
