can i sue for getting slapped?

i was talking to this girl i know who graduated this year. her dad is really rich, got a huge fancy house, and she is telling me about her fancy graduation party and going to college in the fall. she says that shes going to study to be a nurse.

since all nurses eventually get fat, i (jokingly) say "have fun getting fat!" and what does she do? she just hauls off and slaps me! and then walks away.

now ianal but im pretty sure that this is illegal. i know for a fact that if i did it to her i would be thrown in jail. is there any way i can relatiate with a lawsuit or civil charges? i felt and still feel the emotional trauma of this event, everyone at the burger king when this happened probably hates me now. and my cheek still hurts a little where one of her fancy rings scratched it.

like i said her dad is rich and i could really use some help right now.

You've stumbled on to a winning strategy. I'm going to go around pissing off rich people until they retaliate, then sue them for everything. It can't fail!

Go for it. I would say no, but in this country, you can sue for anything. But don't call it getting slapped, sue for assault and being traumatized by the horribly embarrassing event.

It's assault, even if you did deserve it. Do you really want to go to court and have your comment repeated ad nauseum?

And you should think about the long term consequences. If you ever go to the hospital, and the nurses know who you are and what you said, it could get ugly.

Just remember, the nursing industry might come after you for libel/defamation/whatever else they can tag you with, like the beef industry went after Oprah.

LOL ok..that's not going to happen.

OP while you are a jackass and deserved it. I would call the cops. assault is assault. no matter what sex does it.

a lawsuit though? bwhahahhhahaha no.

Here, I modified my masterpiece pome to help take away the sting:
there goes that quack Brianmanahan,
hopped up on crack and cheap Hennigans,
spewing this crap and shenanigans,
trying to act like a man again,
thinks he can snag a ten of ten,
but really just jacked in his hand again,
called a chick fat so she slapped the man,
now hatched a plan to cash in on them.

It really is pretty versatile. :hmm:

what i dont get too is why she slapped me considering i weigh 320 lb! if you are fat it should be ok to make fat jokes. just like if you are chris rock its ok to make jokes about black people.

Well if you slapped her, would she have any recourse? If yes, then you have the same rights. Should you? Hell no, take it like a man.

I could see this going through as well, but probably will be stomped flat by their rich lawyers pretty quickly, and counter-sued for emotional distress and stuff and win. Of course, if it was reversed and you were the one that slapped her, she can and will succeed in suing you for everything you have less your soul for even blinking at her funny.

It was illegal at one time, then feminists called for equal rights and it became fair game to slap the shit out of women. It's also fair game to be a "stay at home dad" even though you don't have any kids.

how can you be a dad if you don't have kids?

i think a better term would be house husband? heh
