41 year old dude...got told coming back after a 5 year injury layoff to expect things to come back slow and weight slower.

Drank all night (until 6am on Saturday) and did it again on Wednesday...had two mini-bites (almond joy and butterfinger) and a rice crispie treat last night even :)

another pound this week...should have my bodyfat right below 20% now (19.6%). Total loss has been 28lbs since August. Week #12 of lifting.

I slowed my fat loss down to a pound a week. I'd like to do 2 still, but I was dropping about 2lbs every 3 days and that's going to be harming muscle mass. Many say even a pound a week is too fast.

:)

12 weeks of working out took about 6" off my beltline. Over 8" on my waist (at navel).

41 year old man.

Proper diet and training pays off very fast and I drink like a fish every weekend.

Damn. Gives me hope at 37 that I can move out of obesity.

Squat. Learn to do compound lifts correctly and be consistent with them.

Eat meat and vegetables. Everything is Protein, Fat, or Carb(and some fiber). Figure out what you need less of.

Fin.

Good work -- hit the traps a little harder!

My traps look low from the front...they show through my shirt in the back though. If I flex them they pop way up and a ton of veins come out in my neck / shoulders. Once I shed the BF more, pictures will look more defined.

My friends say my pics make me look a little fatter / less in shape than I really am.

I was treated around my surgery, my blood pressure and some other things went quickly back to normal. If you are thinking its just because of the hrt I can do this, my normal weight loss has always been this way. After my first divorce I lost 86 lbs in 90 days.

Doing real steroid stacks is way different than a single shot of T once a week

Hey Alky, how tall are you? I only ask because I am right around 205lbs but I look way thinner than you, I am exactly 72 inches.

Looking at your photo, I have smaller chest, shoulders and stomach compared to you but about the same arms and legs.

But seriously, overall, I look way skinnier and I'm hoping it is because you are shorter than me at the same weight. No offense if you read any in my post.

I am 5'10.5". I'd be very curious how you can have 17.5" biceps and be overall skinnier.

I am about 170lbs of lean mass though which is pretty good for my height. My muscles are also very dense/hard and not the smushy type :)

If you are WAY thinner than me you'd probably be 10% BF or less, I am currently around 17-18%, just a bit of my upper abs are visible and my obliques and serratus are starting to appear.

My target is about 185-195lbs, another 10-20pounds and then evaluate myself.

Doh, I do not have 17.5 inch biceps. Last measurement, I am around 16.5 inch bicep, 34.5 inch waist and 26.75 inch thighs.

Maybe it's just from this pic but I do look skinnier. "WAY" is an overstatement from me.

I've never bothered to check my BF % but I would be surprised if I'm any lower than 15%.

I think the additional 1.5 inches height adds about 20lbs on me, LOL.

good job on the progress and all that jazz, but why did you create another thread when you already had a log type thread started?

im going to be bulking up a little bit over the winter time i think. may try to get up to as much as 220lbs. most i've ever been is 218lbs.
